TRAINING & GUIDELINES

COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING MANUAL

I. ENLISTED PROGRESSION

Enlisted personnel progression focuses on logistics and sustainment operations. Enlisted ranks begin at Starman Recruit and progress through the enlisted structure to Chief Petty Officer and Warrant Officer ranks.

Enlisted training emphasizes technical proficiency, equipment operation, and support role execution. Personnel are trained to think offensively while maintaining logistics awareness, consistent with Fleet doctrine.

Advancement through enlisted ranks requires demonstrated competency, attendance requirements, and recommendation from command staff. Enlisted personnel may transition to officer tracks through proper accession pathways.

II. OFFICER ACCESSION

Officer tracks focus on combat operations and command responsibilities. Officer ranks begin at Ensign and progress through Lieutenant ranks to Commander and above.

Officer training emphasizes tactical decision-making, unit command, and combat operations leadership. Officers are trained in sustainment realities while maintaining combat focus, consistent with Fleet doctrine.

Officer accession requires demonstrated leadership capability, combat proficiency, and exclusive organizational membership. Officer positions are available for personnel with experience commanding and training units.

III. PROBATIONARY PERIOD

All new personnel enter the Fleet under mandatory probationary terms. Probationary status applies regardless of prior experience or rank in other organizations.

Probationary personnel must demonstrate attendance compliance, conduct standards, and operational competency. Probationary status is evaluated by command staff based on performance and integration into Fleet operations.

Probationary periods are not punitive. They serve to ensure personnel understand Fleet requirements, doctrine, and operational standards before full integration into the organization.

TRAINING EVENTS

Training events are scheduled regularly and focus on operational proficiency, unit coordination, and doctrine implementation. Training events may include certifications, operational exercises, and multi-crew coordination drills.

Attendance at training events is required for personnel seeking advancement. Training events are scheduled to accommodate both North American and European time zones when possible.

New personnel to Star Citizen are welcome. Fleet members are available to teach game mechanics, ship operations, and Fleet procedures. Training events provide structured learning opportunities for all skill levels.

INTERCEPTOR FIGHTER SQUADRON 55

Interceptor Fighter Squadron 55 (IF-55) is opening and accepting personnel interested in serving as Navy fighter pilots. IF-55 operates under DESRON-38 command structure.

Pilot training focuses on light and heavy fighter operations, including Anvil Hornets, Aegis Gladius, and Anvil F8C platforms. Officer positions are available for personnel with experience commanding and training fighter squadrons.

Fighter pilot training emphasizes combat proficiency, formation flying, and tactical coordination. Personnel interested in IF-55 should indicate interest during recruitment pipeline processing.

MULTI-CREW TRAINING

The Fleet emphasizes multi-crew gameplay as core operational doctrine. Training events focus on ship crew coordination, role specialization, and integrated operations.

Personnel are trained in specific roles including helmsman, engineer, power distribution, and other shipboard functions. Every role contributes to operational success, from capital ship command to support functions.

Multi-crew training prepares personnel for operations ranging from capital ship operations to fighter squadron coordination. The goal is unified, cohesive force capable of completing wide variety of mission sets.
