FLEET DOCTRINE MANUAL
I. ORIGINS & FOUNDATION
Established in 2942, the 22nd Expeditionary Fleet was born from the need for a highly mobile, non-standardized defense force capable of operating autonomously beyond standard patrol routes. Our initial formation was a mix of private security and decommissioned UEE Navy pilots, focusing on establishing secure logistics pipelines.
II. THE KEYSTONE VERGE ENGAGEMENT (2945)
The defining moment of the 22nd, where a small detachment intercepted a coordinated Xeno-Threat cell attempting to disrupt supply lines at the edge of the Keystone system. Through rapid, coordinated action—a core tenet of our doctrine—the threat was neutralized with minimal asset loss, earning the Fleet commendation and expanded autonomy.
III. VEGA II RELIEF OPERATIONS (2948)
Deployed as a rapid response unit following the catastrophic environmental event on Vega II. The 22nd prioritized humanitarian logistics, securing landing zones and establishing medical relief efforts, showcasing our commitment to the UEE populace and proving our versatility beyond pure combat roles.
IV. CURRENT DOCTRINE: ADAPT AND OVERCOME
Our doctrine emphasizes small, elite strike teams supported by robust, self-sufficient logistics. We value skill over seniority and adaptability over rigid adherence to dated protocols. Every member is expected to maintain readiness, uphold the UEE code, and execute their designated role with extreme prejudice against any threat to the Empire or its citizens.
ACTIVITY MANDATE
Active personnel are required to attend a minimum of two (2) scheduled Fleet events or Operations per calendar month. Failure to meet this quota without an approved Leave of Absence (LOA) will result in a Service Review.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE (LOA)
All LOA requests must be submitted via the designated portal at least 48 hours prior to the absence period. LOAs must include justification and duration. Extended, unapproved absences are classified as AWOL and incur immediate termination of service.
CODE OF CONDUCT (STRICT)
- No Real-World Politics/Religion: Discussion of real-world sensitive topics is strictly forbidden in all Fleet communications.
- No Piracy: The 22nd is a UEE-aligned, defense-oriented organization. Engaging in piracy, illegal scavenging, or unwarranted aggression against UEE citizens is grounds for immediate discharge.
- Respect for Command Hierarchy is mandatory.
TRAINING PIPELINE
All recruits must complete Basic Training (T-01) within their first month of service. Specialized roles require subsequent completion of A-School (Advanced Specialization).
OFFICER CANDIDATE SCHOOL (OCS)
Entry to OCS is merit-based, requiring a minimum service period of six months and a formal recommendation from an O-2+ officer. OCS graduates enter service as provisional Lieutenants (O-1).
EXCLUSIVITY MANDATE
All personnel holding the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-7) or higher, or Lieutenant Junior Grade (O-1) or higher, must maintain full exclusivity with the 22nd Expeditionary Fleet. Dual organization membership is not permitted for Command and Senior Non-Commissioned Officer roles to ensure full dedication.
